What it's about
The design phase, and the least visible work in software.
A room full of confident, contradictory opinions. Whiteboards covered in ideas that cannot all be true. Everyone certain, nobody quite describing the same thing — and underneath it, one real requirement that nobody has said out loud. The track is about the excavation: digging until the pattern speaks, because the actual request is rarely what was actually asked for.
The work is translation. Questions become maps, maps become plans, and somewhere in the noise a future starts to breathe. Pattern-finding on one side, human interpretation on the other, both aimed at the same buried thing. Neither gets there alone — a model can surface the correlation, but somebody has to know which correlation is the point.
All of it happens before a single line of code exists, which is exactly why it goes unrecognised. There is nothing to demo and nothing to screenshot. The song treats that invisible stretch as the part that determines whether everything after it was worth building.
